We are hanging at the Haulover sandbar almost every Saturday, though in the winter when the water is cold we go to Beer Can Island this way we can get out of the boat without freezing out nuts off. I am pretty sure we will be there this coming Saturday, we should have at least 3 or 4 boats. I will post when I am positive we are going, I'll know by Thursday night. I'm not sure if I can upload pics in this post but if it works here is waht to look for.

Here is the wifey and mistress on the sandbar at Haulover.

It looks like its a go for us at Haulover on Saturday. I am not sure yet if we will be on the sand bar or the west side of Beer Can Island. It all depends on how cold the water is. We are all native Floridians so anything below 80 degrees is freekin cold for us.

We will be at Beer Can early in the morning. We may go to the sand bar later.
We have a Martinique 2400 named "4 Play @ C"

Its a definate go for Saturday at Haulover. We will be arriving by about noon. We should have a good crowd. We are not sure weather we will be on the sand bar or the west side of the island. Either way we will make room for anyone that wants to pull up.

These are the two boats to look for. I am of course the Scarab Sport and my buddy is the go-fast Scarab. There are 2-3 other boats but I am not sure what time they are coming out. If you are coming up just yell that you are from the raft up site and you're in.

P.S. Not a bad shot of the two Scarabs sitting in the Bahamas huh? :D

Re: Haulover

I've had it up to 65 MPH but with the props I'm currently running I get just over 61 MPH. I can cruise all day at 45 MPH and still get 1.8 MPG.

Re: Haulover

That's fast! What HPs do you have? How heavy is the boat? Somehow I've seen your boat somewhere between the Dania Cutoff and Haulover. That was my route for a year.

Re: Haulover

I have twin 250s, the boat weighs in at about 6500 pounds with no fuel or people. It's very possible that you have seen me between Dania Cut Off and Haulover. I live on the water up in the Daine Cut Off and I travel to Haulover almost every weekend.
