No offense to anyone, but I don't find watching half a million people watching a ball fall the most entertaining way to spend the first day of a new year.

Anybody planning to spend New Year eve on the water?

Last year I had a great time at NNH. I may head down there also this year... and this year I will be flying my Raft-up.com flag.

No Name Harbour in Key Biscayne.
You can dock during the day and drop anchor at night. There is a good restaurant there. The beach is at walking distance.
It's a nice place for spending a night.

Looks like I'm in for Saturday, but am thinking Hillsboro Inlet rather than Lake Sylvia. Thoughts?
