does anyone know when is mini regatta? i believe its the second week of March but im not a 100% sure...

I've never been to the Mini Regatta...is is right off Key Biscayne or by one of the other close keys (Elliot, Virginia)? How big does the turn out normally end up? Should next Sat be the best day to go? Thanks!

seabill, it is SATURDAY & it is right off of key biscayne (nixon beach sandbar). its turn out is HUGE, but to a smaller scale, compared to columbus day regatta!

I just got my first boat and mini regatta sounds like it might be the right time to christen it the right way. Can anybody tell me where Nixon Beach Sandbar is? I'm not very familiar with the area, yet.

Hello fellow boaters, I just found this site..and I'm just now reading about this weekend's regatta,too bad I had a very busy weekend home improvements lined up.....hmmmm, I haven't taken my boat out in months...time to draw the line and head out Sunday for some fun in the sun.... I'll be out Sunday in a 32' Renegade would love to raft up.
