Family of 3 with a 7-year-old boy, in the Ft Lauderdale area.
Look forward to meeting other members who want to raft-up sometime in Haulover, Lake Sylvia or at Marina Bay. Broward & Miami Dade areas mainly.
We can't wait for the next family-oriented raft-up in our area. We have never been in any activity with this group yet.
We Prefer first raft-up in places like John Loyd Park or Beer Can Island where you get to meet new people without having to go through their boat on the first day.
We are out on the water almost every weekend.
If you see a 2400 Wellcraft Martinique named "4 Play @ C", give us a call.

I am also fairly new to the group. Also a family of three with a "just turned" 9 year old boy. Would love to attend a family oriented get together.

Hi David,
I don't think there is a section leader or moderator for each forum. At least, not yet. I think anybody can post a message and suggest a place and date for a get-together for their group. If I am wrong, I am sure Jonathan will correct me.
Anyway, if this is the case, then if you boat in the Ft Lauderdale or Miami area, suggest a raft-up date and place. As I said, I like places like Beer Can Island or John Loyd Park: you can walk around the beach on both places and get a chance to meet other boaters without being tied up for a long period of time.
It's nice to start early before the water starts getting chilly!
I am out almost every weekend, so anyplace or date should be fine (well, almost, I have to talk to the Admiral). You know the drill!

Hi guys. Correct, there are currently no group specific moderators as of yet. I am still learning the full functionality of this software, and will go from there.
