| | | Keys Restaurants I will be keeping my boat down in islamarda/tavernier for the next couple of months and I am looking for some good bars that I can get to via boat. The only one I have found so far is Snooks, which apparently isn't that great. Any suggestions...

Coconuts in Key Largo
The Hideout in Key Largo for Breakfast- Hard to find, hence the name.
I hear Tugboat Annie's in Key Largo is open once again.
I have friends down there- Maybe we can do some boating while you're there. |

| | | Re: Keys Restaurants I am in tavernier, the boat is hanging on davits right now. There is a ramp right across US1 from where I am, MM93. The park is called Harry Harris park. The ramp is usually pretty quiet, especially weekdays. The only problem is that it closes after 5 or sunset, I forget.

| | | Re: Keys Restaurants I keep my boat in the Keys for a few months in the spring. Good restaurants throughout the Keys:
Tavanier: Craig's. You can't get there by water but they have one of the besty grouper sandwiches you'll find anywhere
Islamorada: Hog Heaven. Entrance channel from the ocenside a few miles north of Holiday Isle. It's more of a late night locals hangout
Marathon: Castaways. Great local seafood, not much atomsphere. It is adjacent to Burdines Marina in Boot Key Harbor (Oceanside). Burdines Marina also has a pretty good tiki bar restaurant.
Key West: Other than all the ususals, Pepe's is great. It is located near Key West Bight. Another good place is Blue Heaven. It is lcoated near Old Town, you can walk but it is easier to catch a cab. |

Know them well. Hog Heaven is a blast too, but has calmed down quite a but over the years. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
