Hey Chad....I might not make it this Sunday since my son is leaving to go back to G'ville that afternoon, but July 4th fireworks sounds great..I'm putting it down and will talk to you before then!!

Me and Kate will be in this "neck of the woods" for the whole July 4th weekend.

Shes been telling me that Lake Sylvia has the biggest boat party on Sat. July5th!! I cant wait to see for myself! I'm looking forward to meeting some of the Southeast Raft-Up friends

I am trying to make a Bimini run over the 4th. Also a great party weekend over in the islands. Big John's was thumpin' last year. If I can't make it, will try to hook up in town with you guys. If anyone is also going to Bimini just give a hollar.

I would love to know more about doing that kind of run over there. I have always wanted to try that.

Asureyes and I were in Bimini Thursday-Sunday with about 20 other boaters for the first of 4 Bahama Flings put on by the Bahamas Tourist Council. The seas were about 3-5 going over, and a little rough-took a little over 3 hours, but once we got there, the waters were calm, turquoise and clear, the drinks were cold and we had a great time and made a lot of new friends. Going back with following seas and less than 2', it took about 2 hours and before we knew it we were back and thinking of the next trip!!

The next Bahamas fling left today for Port Lucaya, and then there is one more to Bimini the weekend of July 10th, and a long 10 day trip to some of the other islands...

On Friday July 4, we'll be out on Lake Sylvia from 2pm to post-fireworks! (6 definites, still have room for 3 more.)

It's Maurice' birthday and we're planning a BBQ dinner aboard, birthday celebration, and then change into PJs for the fireworks/party!

Hi Asureyes and Barry G. I went over there Thurs. through Sunday too. Thursday morning seas were over 10 feet and yes, we had a following sea at 1-2 without wind on Sunday. Stayed at Bluewater on the inside of the North Bimini. We saw you but did not know who you were at the time. We were in the 46 Catamaran 1/4 mile just south of you. BTW, you lost one of your beer bottles that floated past us about half full - next time, bring Corona. Do you remember seeing us? We heard your music too.

We went to Big John's on Saturday night for drinks and dancing. Looking to go again towards the end of the month???

Yes I remember seeing your boat..You should have come over and joined us. We had about 20 boats and everyone was very friendly!! WE all can't wait to go back, just trying to figure out when. Need a little time to recoup from the $6.00/gallon price I paid there!
