rick(pantera), i saw you northbound as i was south from my 13hr drive. i had a feeling there was something going down at haulover. | YUP,
Spent the whole day at the sandbar, ran down to bayside for a bit, then back up to the sandbar to meet a buddy on a 38 cig raceboat. Never did get back in the cove with the others from raftup, the wife was conten on the bar. Where in the mountains were ya?? I have some property in the mountains up in PA. There was another 24 with an I/O but didnt get to meet them. I will be back down soon, Mike got his fountain, but needs to straighten a few things out.

| | Re: June 8th ... Haulover Report We had six boats over the afternoon, two exprewss cruisers and four opens. The water was pristine, the beer icy cold, the Margaritas/Coladas were frosty and the people were mega cool.
I thought we'd have a better turn out from the Dade County crowd, but alas, we had only one boat from Dade and these rest were from the stalwart Broward fleet.
See next post for new plans. |
