Hey to all.

Good Idea on the roll call thing.

On Satuday, sea state dependant, I want to run down to Miami Beach for an afternoon of FFF @ Monte's and then back to Lauderdale to set the hook at L. Sylvia in the afternoon. (FFF is Fun, food and frolic, you nasty people) I'm thinking of over nighting on Sylvia Satuday to get a full day of super fun on Sunday. I'm wanting to stay to stay on the hook as long as I have water, ice and rum which means Monday bailing to the sanity and sobriety of land.

So look for Asureyez on Sylvia later in the day on Saturday ... or if the seas are lumpy We'll do Bahia Cabana and then Sylvia. Want to hook up on Saturday ... call me @ 954-647-4411

With fuels costs effecting some skippers travel plans, its a good bet the raft up will be really really big. I know that many will be joining in from LYC as well.

Do we have an official Raft Master to help keep chaos to a scream?

Can anyone provide shore side shuttle to pick up crew not arriving by boat?

Is there a VHF working channel the group likes to use, if not let's make it 69

Is there a secret hand shake?

Is there a common rock station for the raft ?

For once in my raft-up life I might actually get to have fun with you all! I'm finally off this weekend, but I'm not sure if this weekend is kid friendly....any help???

The weather forecast is calling for a 30% chance of toplessness, but you should be OK. It may be best to tie up on the end rather than in the center as it always seems to be a bit more tame. This is always one of the biggest raft-ups @ 30+ boats. I see a lot of talk about Saturday and Sunday- the actual event that has been heavily promoted is on Sunday, so keep that in mind. Saturday will be good, but Sunday is the main event. We should be easy to find, but the channel to monitor is VHF 69 (The pleasure channel).

Now it official; I cant wait....found out a week ago I was being shifted to a new position at work. Needless to say it was a move I didn't want to make, but was forced to. And its argueably the bottom of choices for someone in my position to be at. Talked to my future new boss today, and....I CAN'T WAIT TO UNWIND (AND I DON'T EVEN START THE JOB UNTIL JUNE 2!!!)
