what happened to the Boca Bash of 08? the website for it; Index of / is down and the thread on this forum for it is missing? did the grinch steal the event?.....

i thought it was originally posted for the w/e of april 26-27 2008

Probally they didn't pay there domain fee's.

Anyways... how is the boca bash...is it as good as the bal harbour sand bar.

My buddies want me to take them there but only if the see some naked chicks!!!

you should tell your buddies that naked chicks are neither standard nor optional, you have to supply your own.....lol. I would be surprised if the Boca Raton Police turn a blind eye towards a columbus day regatta type of event.

True, I forget its in boca and the marine patrol are out there. I think I went to one bash a loooong time ago back in my waverunning days. It wasn't that bad if I remember correctly. That will probally dull the fun down a bit if the patrol is out there. I was at the Bal Harbour Sand bar last Saturday and it was packed! There were girls doing beer bongs and getting crazy. Lots of fun.

Here's my guess .. and it it JUST a guess .. I bet the Boca folks told the organizer that he'd be arrested/jailed for holding the event without a permit, unless he removed all promotion. (Notice that his thread was removed from this site too?)

Meanwhile, it appears that there is already enough momentum, to, well .. we're gonna take a run up on Saturday and see .. I bet it will at minimum be a fun raft-up.

Anyone needs a ride to/from Dania, lemme know.

My boat is "Freedom Won" but I also listen for/respond to "Coral Mike". I scan VHF channels 9, 16 and 69.

As of now, I'm planning on heading up from the Dania Cutoff Canal at around noon in Saturday. I haven't decided yet whether I'm gonna go out the Port and up by sea, or lug up the intracoastal.

I'll probally haul the boat to pompano and take the hillsboro inlet or channel to Boca. I'll probally be there around 11a. Will be in a red and white CC with poles in the launchers named SEACHASER.
