I'd be happy to drive for you, doesn't sound like you've had much luck in that department. I learned on air nautiques w/+wo perfect pass (cruise control). My first teacher was OC about his boat and very thorough with the nuances of boat/rider/equipment safety (were you really run over?).
I'll be down next year, and will definately take you up on the ride.
Till then, if the pull is too slow, just stay squat til you get the driver to go faster

. You can ride a long time down low. Also try going out with at least 3 people, you can talk a driver through the right way while someone else is pulled. And lastely, just keep trying, it's a hard sport, and you can get really sore after just a few pulls but streatching helps a lot!
