Cool Parts Houses for Kohler & Volvo Penta

Just as the post suggests, with the new float comes the need for spare parts and service parts.

Anybody have a recommendation in the Fort Lauderdale area for a supply house to get parts for both Kohler Generators and Volvo Penta without having to cut off an arm and a leg and mortgage the house to do it?

Thanks!

HOpefully you don't need the parts yet? Just planning ahead!
I have been getting the best parts from Boat Owners Warehouse.. they don't mark up too badly, and if you can get your model numbers (and the engine serial numbers) they can get pretty much anything.
I have a friend in Sarasota that has VOlvo's and I'll see where he gets his parts..

Hey, I need a fuel cut-off solenoid for my Onan, and I am in Homestead. If anyone had any leads as to where I can get a solenoid, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Just planning ahead, and wanting to have spare parts on hand like impellers for the Volvo water pumps. Thanks for any info, Chris. I am also looking to buy the genuine Volvo service manuals, not the generic knock-off stuff. 'Tis always better to have and not need than need and not have...

Well when are we gonna see a pic? What'd you get?
I've had great luck getting factory/OEM manuals off ebay. And Dave at BOW on Sample has treated me right on factory parts. Gotta see him today about some temp senders & switches...

Well, I had it out on Saturday for a couple of hours, but no one had a camara. I could take a few of it on the trailer....

It is a Larson 290 Cabrio, with all the trimmings...

You got yourself a family truckster!! Definitely a nice party parge...congrats! How many grills does it hold? haha
Most important: what's it got for power? Single or Duo-prop? does it have the crank mounted raw-water pumps? Those are sweet...

Not quite the family truckster, more like a home away from home. It has twin 350's with Duo props - it tops out just under 50 mph, and yes, it has the crank mounted raw-water pumps
