You may have missed out on 2 of the nicest boating days of the year. 1-2' along the coast, sun partially blocked keeping things mild, and a fun crowd down at Haulover.

Yup...was down at Haulover all day on Saturday. I ran the ocean down from Lauderdale and was able to keep a steady 50 MPH the whole way, the ocean was that smooth. I ran the ocean back at about 6:30 pm and it was even more calm. I love those night runs in the ocean. :D

I have been missing all the raft-ups, but I sure hope to get a chance to get together with you guys someday.
Do you have any plans for the Tanksgiving holiday?
We are planning to spend it at Marina Bay. It's a great place where many yacht clubs reserve spaces for weekends. It has a huge pool, lots of places for BBQ, a restaurant and a beautiful club house. The price per foot is the best in the area.
Jonathan, if you are in the area that weekend, come by and take a look, if you have not been there before.

This weekend was one of the most beautiful times on the water, I left the dock on saturday mornign @ 5:30am for some fishing and have some really nice snap shots of the beginning of the sunrise..... very nice calm waters.. I ramp in @ Coconut Grove and made it out as far as Houlover out on ocean the side. I unfortunantly did not make it out on the water on Sunday as i was a wreck after being at the sand bar in Stiltsville.

I hope to soon make it out to the Houlover sandbar and meet most or anyone from this forum that makes it out there.

I may swing by to check it out. It looks as though I may be boatless for the weekend as I'm having bottom paint applied for the first time. I eat at Rendezvous there often.
