Come EARLY if coming by water. I got up there last week at 4:30 and the dock was already full and we had to raft up. I'd like to plan ahead and have several boats meet up rather than raft in the middle of a bunch of strangers - too many drunk strangers not being respectful for my temper to hold again. One @sshat almost got to meet my gaff.

They will drag you down to their level and beat you with their greater experience down there.
Haha, I wish thats what it was. Couple drunk guys would JUMP into boats (massive thud, dress shoes, etc) without asking to try to get to their friends on the end boat. The guy next to me went after one and scolded the hell out of him, pretty funny actually.
As of today I am planning on getting up there between 3:30 and 4 to get a spot right on the dock. If anyone else can make it up shortly after please let me know.
