In-water dockage for the weekend?

I'm debating whether to try and leave the boat in the water from Friday through Sunday evening but not sure where to start looking. Ideally somewhere near Port Everglades. Do I just start calling the marinas to see if they have space? What should I expect to pay?
Thanks,
Michael

http://www.ci.ftlaud.fl.us/marinas/index.htm has the numbers for all the dockage along Riverwalk downtown, as well as the number for Cooley's landing. They have a rate schedule posted as well. I'm betting dockage might be hard to come by for this weekend though. Good luck!

We have a dock space for Friday & Saturday night at Sands Harbour in Pompano. They had some space left early this week

Re: In-water dockage for the weekend?

I just called this morning and got a spot on the New River right in front of our condo for Friday and Saturday night. She said they've got a lot coming in but still have some spots. Minimum charge is 30ft @ $1.15/ft, so it cost $34.50 if you're <30ft. I was just going to do Saturday night, but thinking of the line for the boat ramp Saturday morning, and the likelihood I'll be running late due to a hangover, figured it'd be worth the money to put it in tomorrow afternoon and just jump on and go Saturday morning. Good luck!
