I also vote for Sat - I think I'll need Sunday to clean up the boat and bring myself back to the living.

Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

I will still try to get a worthy "overnight" vessel and I will drag mine along as a tender and save as much room as possible in the best location on Friday night. Of course any other overnighter boats could come on Friday as well and those with the smaller boats I will post how many staterooms I might have available if you want to come out Friday night as well. Will probably overnight Saturday as well and depending on the desire could stay all day Sunday and Sunday night. Plenty of land spots to pick up and drop off people who want to come and go. Aren't boats with generators and a few hundred gallons of diesel fuel great. Hell, I might just stay Monday as well.

Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

Im trying to figure out the overnight thing - Id like to get out Fri night and all day Sat, but havent had a chance to get my 6 mo old German Pinscher used to the boat (or paper trained on the boat!). She has more energy than a power plant and may go nuts in an area that small for that long!

Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

I am doing both Sat and Sunday. I would be in for Sunrise Lake, but if it is flat I would prefer to go out-side. I will have to many people on board to do the overnight thing, however I might take the boat up to Riverwalk for the night

Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

I have rafted next to a 65' Hatt with a 6' draft, so I'm guessing most of it is around 8'+, but I'd check a chart for certain. I don't know about shoaling or anything, but again, fairly large vessels have been there. There are 100'+ yachts in that marina.

Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

I'm really hoping you guys with big fiberglass can get in there early and save us some prime real estate. Let's get a list going- who's in for Sunrise?
