Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

If there is enough interest in doing this raft up at Lake Sunrise I will get my employer to let me use a substantial size boat for the weekend and I can go on Friday night and get the primo spot and save as much space as possible for everyone from raft-up.com and their friends. For the Super Bowl raft-up they gave me a 2007 46 Ocean. Start posting and let me know so I can start making the case to management.

Very interested. I thought I posted in here this morning but it seems to have vanished. Would we need to get there early morning or the night before?

I may have room for a couple extras, just depending on how many of my friends come along and if I stay overnight or not.

Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

Like I had posted before, the oceans' the best place to watch it, but if it's rough there is NO rafting, if you like your boat. Also the crew can get queeezy if it's choppy.

I'll suggest that if it's windy we can all get together at Sunrise Harbor, which is right north of the Sunrise Bridge and raft up! You see most of the show, and can make more of a multi boat party out of it.

I'll post when we get closer!

Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

Im game for the raft-up, I have no idea how im going to meet up with you guys because I dont know how to get there, but I figure if I pass the LAS Olas bridge and keep going north ill eventually run into the Sunrise bridge through the inlets (have never gone up through there). Its worth a try, im definitely not doing any ocean sight seeing thats for sure. Let me know where the raft up would be if we can do it.

Just continue north of sunrise blvd, you will pass "sunrise Harbor"(alot of mega yachts) and another marina.

Its on your left before the "resume speed" signs, should be packed with boats.....

Re: 2007 McDonald's Air & Sea Show

If we can put some **** back together in the engine room I'll have a 142 footer ready to roll...kinda waiting on parts. Really depends on when they get here and what we run into putting everything back together.

If things work out, hop aboard. If not, I'm going to be looking for a boat to get there.

Coin toss at this point. They 'say' the hydraulic rams will be done in a few days but we shall see.

If anybody needs crew let me know, like, just in case. hahaaaa
