howabout classified section

need to sell some of my junk do you have a classified layout yet

Great ,I have a 50 hp honda need to sell may even sell my new boat I cannot get a descent insurance quote

I would really consider this... look at the other Vbulletin boards....

not a popular item....

If you did this I would allow a "for sale" posting that can be removed by the poster. No comments, etc. a "Sticky" comes to mind....

Be really careful with this...

I don't mean to be a negative nancy here but something to think about is liability. If someone gets screwed on a deal gone bad with payment or quality issues, who is liable? I guess it shouldn't be an issue because most of us are local, just something I have seen time and time again with every forum's classified section.....

Liability is not really an issue. EBay and Boat Trader do a very good job at doing what they do, and this will be very small scale. I am thinking about offering a "Premier Membership" for a minimal cost which will allow unlimited use of classifieds, photo posting, etc. I'm sure most transactions would take place locally as you mentioned.
