with the weather like this...you may want to go out to (river) Lake Martinez or Parker Dam---it's a couple hours drive, so it makes a great weekend trip...those places both go OFF during the summer, even more so on any big three/four day weekend...Locally, as far as fresh water, I think you're kinda bummed...Lake San Vicente has, or is, closing for rennovation---they may be open on a limited basis (like for fishing) but you can check it out...I'm not really a SD lake expert, but I have a couple of bassin friends that can give me the lowdown...be more specific as to what you want I'll get back to you...if you don't mind dropping your boat in the salt---then hit Mission Bay this weekend...With the weather, I can pretty much gaurantee the place will be a zoo--the only problem is the water is still on the chilly side (to remedy...just drink more tequilla)
