Re: Boating this weekend?

Hi Claytonam1

well lets see you want to go boating? well you could go to lake Elsinor just past Temecula on the 15, that takes about 1 1/2hr from your location. Mission Bay is ok but will get rough in the afternoon ramps are off Ingraham Dr by seaworld.
or the river at yuma Border between Ca and Az I think thats a 3 to 4hr drive go to Hidden shores or Lake Martinez there is a man made resivor called senator wash thats down by Lake Martinez but on the Ca side.
then theres the river at Parker Az thats out the 10 to desert center(177) to parker at the river this will take 5hrs towing at 55 if you mind the speed limit BUT WHO does!! so that about covers it if you need hard directions let me know..

Re: Boating this weekend?

It's a Deep V twin engine Alpha outdrives. Just sold my 23' Hallet. Wanted something I could take in salt. I may stick close this weekend. Let me know if you'll be out in the neighborhood!

Thumbs up Re: Boating this weekend?

Good suggestions! I'm down in North County (San Diego), in carlsbad in particular. I spend about 90% of my boating time in Parker AZ, so if you have any questions about going there I could probably answer them.

Not towing from where I live in carlsbad it's right around 4 hours, if I'm towing it's 4 1/2 to 5 hours depending on how much we stop. I sold my 22 Nordic last year, and this year my g/f bought a Spectra 20 that I'm restoring little by little. :)

Looking forward to meeting some more river rats from the San Diego area. I'm on another website called Hotboat and about once a year everyone gets together for drinks at a local watering hole if anyones interested. Not sure when we are doing it this year.

Nice Hallett by the way RiverRat! Got any more pics?

Here's some pics of the Spectra 20

Re: Boating this weekend?

Parker sounds like fun. I just bought the boat and would like to work out the bugs before I take it that far. Let me know a good weekend to go and we'll hook up down there.

Smile Re: Boating this weekend?

A couple of "River Ratz" here. We are frequent visitor to the "Parker Strip". Actualy we are heading that way for the Memorial Holiday weekend to party it up a bit and looking to meet some folks from the San Diego area that will be doing the same. We have a fairly large crew going with us so you know it will be a blast where ever we decide to tie up. We will be staying at the Blue Water so look us up.
