About 25 miles east of Scottsdale is a lake called Canyon Lake where many locals visit.

If you have time, and enjoy architecture be sure to visit Taliesin West by Frank Lloyd Wright.

He also designed the Arizona Biltmore hotel, which has a great pool & spa.
