Beer Can Island had at least 100 boats on Saturday. The island is probably about 10acres. BeerCan is a local boaters hang out. It's about a 10 min. ride southeast of Davis island (runnin at about 40mph).

OK.. Advanced notice.. We have a long wknd coming up. I've made reservations at the Holiday Inn Indian Rocks Beach. April 7 and 8. They have a great location inclusive of a marina, half way between Sand Key and Johns Pass and Home of Jim Iguanas . This is an awesome place with a Tikki bar, Live music and a zero depth pool for those who can't swim. LOL. This is a central location that puts you in the middle of all the CW hot spots. Can't freaking believe that the Air Show is the same weekend as the Sarasota Poker Run, the St. Pete Grand Prix and the Chasco Fiesta Boat Parade in NPR....
We're at either Shell Isle, Egmont Key or Beer Can Isle nearly every weekend - if you see my boat stop by, say hi and enjoy a cold one with us - boat is white outboard cat with yellow/purple interior and yellow/purple stripes along the waterline...
