Re: Best deal on Marine plywood??

Why plywood..? Plywood is being replaced with expanded PVC (commonly miscalled Starboard). I think I paid about 50bux a sheet. I bought mine at a place in St. Pete.. Best price I found.

I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond. I have my hands full on the home front and don't check this as often as I should. Please I.M. me or ask Rick to call me. I have an old receipt around here that I will get the address and phone number from. I have a bunch, here. I'm sure not as much as you need, though..

1 48" x 96" sheet is $420.61 + shipping............ I dont think so.
I am going with the 3/4 marine plywood and using epoxy 2 part over it. My friend got me 2 sheets for $160.00 Delivered.

Re: Best deal on Marine plywood??

You should do a lil more research, Before taking someones word that plastic costs the same as gold. My boat is full of expanded PVC, NOT Starboard. Everyone thinks they have to have Starboard. You don't need Starboard, unless you are building a aircraft carrier. My $50 quote may have been a LITTLE low, But I'm not far off. I bought 3 sheets and it was under 200bux. Call Farco plastics and ask for EXPANDED PVC. Unless you enjoy replacing rotted wood, every few years.
