We had a blast there last year. I hope everyone will be able to make it again. Make sure you go to the website and register your boat so you can get the free food and bags of tshirts,toys and coozys once you get there..The whole event is free. Make sure you fly your Raft-up.com flags once out there.. Our group will try and meet on the east bank byt the welcome boaters sign.. Already signed up! Was looking at their last years pics, Only antjaw's Pontoon Pirate, "Three Gulls and a Bouy" made the pics and just in the back ground, This year we need to change that! LOL

Can't make it this year, we've already reserved one of those giant houseboats in Palatka to take NC friends to the Glen for that weekend...!

We just registered. This will be our first Aquapalooza. We look forward to hanging out with everyone.

For those of you that have never been, Sea Ray puts this on and feeds everyone during the day. They also give away lots of free crap. Many of the members stayed overnight last year, either on their boats or on a raft on the beach. There didnt seem to be any problems with the law......Till Dustin got naked... But thats another story. Since it is a big event, the police will be patrolling the dunes (stealthily), so just remember once your feet come out of the water, you are in a state park and no alcohol is allowed.. so, only drink in the water.

I am registered, it will be my first time at disappearing island. Some friends of mine that have a condo and boat at ponce inlet are also registered. They go out there a lot. Looking forward to getting the boat salty, and the girls tipsy :) I have a flight to boston the next morning, so I will have to take it easy.

Don't forget, the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament is going on the 22nd, 23rd & 24th, so the Sisters Creek Marina will be closed for that weekend. The awards party is on the 25th.

The other boat ramps will be packed as well on those fishing dates.

Sisters Creek will be packed with boats from the marina all the way out to the river and beyond when the weigh-in starts.

If you plan on going to Ft George on Friday I would suggest leaving a few hours before the weigh-in starts. Once the weigh-in starts the boats will be lined up down Sisters Creek and will be almost impossible to get through the boats. Hopefully I will be someplace in that weigh-in line weighing in a big one.
