I sometime wonder the same thing? it is pretty quiet in here, I am not sure about any events in the sraights area, but I will be cruising up lake huron to mackinaw island around august first, i can keep a look out for ya.
that's a good trip. I keep my boat in the marina on the mainland in St. Ignace just a stone throw from the island. you would think there would be more boating events in this area.
