The Dale trip was great! I went through 4 tanks of gas in incidently four cases of beer in four days The way I have claculated it between my maps and GPS, I have run just at 70% OF Dale Hollow lake.
Do you ever go to Harrington lake? My friends that are building the castle in the ville have a house down there and we are going to go play this weekend.

I went to the fireworks a few years back on a friends 46' houseboat. I'll probably never do it again. It was a madhouse upon leaving and the amount of moronic driving was unbelievable. Usually, the current is still pretty bad that time of the season too and makes it hard to raft up.

It has turned into a large boat thing so now you can only go 5 mph when leaving. I may go if the river is not up.
