Here are a few good South FL locations. Be careful of "The Triangle" on your way to Lake Sylvia- Sea Tow doesn't hang around there for nothing.

Maybe I missed it in the threads but I didn't see anyone mention the sand bar in Stuart, FL, about 1 mile NW of the St. Lucie Inlet. Great place to hit after a day trolling!

Great Raft-Up location at Dissappearing Island at Ponce inlet
lot's of people, parties,games and just plain old fun!!!

I live right by there and i dont think its a great raft off spot, except for sat night when we are watching the winterfest boat parade, but on random weekends i dont consider it a great spot. It is very large and you get a lot of current there, its deep and you cant touch the bottom..

Here is a pic of the last Lake Sylvia raft off i went to with a group from Petset, it looks like a bad day, but we actully never got rained on...

I met Peyton at Shooters last weekend and told him about the site. He is a super nice guy with a super nice boat.

There are also a couple of areas inside the Jupiter inlet:

- west of inlet, under SRA1A and rail bridge. Very nice sandbar area, fantastic people, crowd is all ages and never any drama.
- north of inlet in ICW, just after Beach Road bridge. There is a parking lot and beach access to the ICW here, so boaters can meet their non-boating friends here.

I am a huge fan of this area because the water is beautiful blue here, it's even fairly clear on an outgoing tide.
