Trailer Guide Post Question

I'm trying to fine some Guide post or even the roller load guides for my boat trailer and Notice my Trailer has a 6"H X a 3.5"W Beam. The standard size is 4 or 3 trailer beams. I own a Shorelandr Trailer and called them But had to leave a message?
Any Suggestion?

Re: Trailer Guide Post Question

I once bought the attachements at Bass Pro Shop. I think the pair costed about $95. It's been a few years.

You have an aluminum I-beam correct? Mine use two square u-bolts per side, one on each side of the beam, on the bottom part. Put the u-bolt so the threads come up from the bottom. That will give you a good square mounting point for the galvanized square tube.
And you should be able to get everything at either Bass Pro/Outdoor World or your local boat store.
Also a trailer loading idea if it applies...have you tried loading with the trailer not so far in the water? I can't tell from the pictures, but if you have a forward v-bunk or similar, that will help "center" the boat. Of course you'll probably have to "drive" the boat on using a bit of power, but it might help.

Yes Aluminum I-Beam.. Yeah That what I tried to do... The Problem is My Trailer Beam is 6" H X 3.5" All the Ubolts at Bass pro and Western-M are 3-5" Long nothing over 6".... I tried a few Trailer Shops also?

Pulling up- I though I may Scatch the Bottom? I new and still learning....

Hopefully my picture will help a little; you don't need very long u-bolts.
It looks like your boat doesn't even sit on the forward v-notch or crossbeam; so it just rests on the main bunks? Try putting the trailer in so that just a couple inches of the main bunks stick out of the water.
