Coast Guard Encounters

Since most of my boating is on inland lakes, and I see several pics on here with the coasties at raft ups What exactly are they looking for ? Do they check all your safety gear, intoxication or what ?

Up here the lakes are patrolled by DNR rangers. They are pretty easy going mainly check for safety gear. Unless your obviously **** faced drunk they will leave you alone as long as there is a half sober person in the boat.

Of course if you act like an idiot expect to get hooked up.

All of the above. They are usually pretty friendly, unless you try to pull a "Do you know who I am" trip.

That is my favorite part of those Party Patrol shows, listening to everyone give their excuses as the why they should be excluded from the law

Haha...I was on the last "Party Police" show. I was quiet in the background but my wife had some things to say.
