I've come to the point where I need to get my boat detailed.

Got a slime-line that won't quit. The blue gel-coat is oxidized and dull ... white fiberglass is chalky... stainless railings are 'stained' ... and so forth.

But after talking to a half-dozen people out of various listings, I'm kind of at a stumbling point of what to do.

Have "estimates" from $400 to $2,000.

How do I know if the $400 guy does the same job as the $2,000 guy?

So, I'd like to hear from anyone who has had good/bad experiences with clean-up and detailing people.
