Funny you mention this article because as I was going along the new river last Sunday I was wondering why such a huge property was not used at all. There is enough space to build dozens of dry storage buildings in that property.
Mega-yachts only?
How about dry storage for people like us? Considering most good dry storage marinas now have a waiting list, I do hope they also make spaces for smaller boats.

There are many reasons, but to keep it short $, the big guys pay better and more...

If you want to store a smaller boat try the port condos they are only like $200k (rediculous) and their are a few more of those in process, who knows if they will ever get there in this market...

I have been through the Dry Storage deal before at Scottys Landing in Coconut Grove... it is kinda a mess at least there, there is only 3 slips to pull in and out and the guys that move your boat with the lifts are not really all that friendly no matter how much you tip them. the limits on times that you can have your boat lowered and or lifted is also a mess it kinda puts a damper on the sunset watcher to know upon return your boat will sit in the water with all the other boats that did not make the 6:00 pm cut off.

on the other hand, if i had money blowin out of my ears....i would park my boat behind my water front home.....jejeje where ever that may be.

(for now in my head)
