| | | Headed down to Key West town... The orders just came down from the Admiral- leave for Key West at 0900 tomorrow morning. Weather permitting, the boat will stay down there for the next 2 months! Maybe I can finally get some good raft-ups going on down there- yeah, like I'll have the time. Anyhow, I hope you guys will drop in and say hello if you should find yourselves at MM 0. I can be reached at jonathan@raft-up.com.

| | | Re: Headed down to Key West town... Been a busy few days! I got to fulfill a lifelong dream of running a boat into Key West harbor at sunset. I've been going down there for many years, and have always wanted to see the island by water- especially at sunset. We've been fishing down near the Dry Tortugas, and we even snorkeled at the fort one day- 60 miles each way! If you've never visited Fort Jefferson, I highly recommend it. The waters are crystal blue, and in the middle of no where sits this mighty fort atop a small island. As soon as we pulled in, a 500 lb. grouper swam underneath our boat, and tarpon were swimming everywhere (The fish are all protected by law there). I will say that Key West is a much different place on the last day of a holiday weekend- Ghost town! I'm back up in Lauderdale for a day or so, and then it's "Back to the island". I am taking plenty of photos and will post soon. I miss rafting with you guys, and look forward to a good party when I get home.

I'm sure many of you might think I'm living the life and partying it up here in KW, but let me set the record straight- long, long hours in the hot sun, workdays which begin at 6:30am and end at 11pm, and really high living expenses. Still sound glamorous? Stay in school kids!
