I have a good friend of mine that works for Carnival that I emailed about getting some 'group' discounts that I am waiting to hear back from, but I know she will need to know what dates, destinations, Port of call, etc. etc., so if we can narrow the field somewhat we can possibly get some great rates from her. She got me a 5 day cruise to Key West & Cozumel last Nov. for only $159 in a private room. (But then again I think she already reallized the Cruise line would more than make up for it via my bar tab, lol)

I don't mean to repeat myself but I think money is not the main issue. You can find me a 3-week cruise for $99 and I will have the money but not the 3 weeks. Maybe I can take a 3-week vacation but not at the time Raftup.com will plan it.
And this will happen to most of us. Now if you say a weekend, and most people will say "yes, I can do that".
You will get a bigger crowd.
