I have been listening to Jimmy Buffett music since before I was born (ask Mom)...

I quote his songs in my day to day and I havent missed a show in over 15 years. I met him Dec 2nd 1992 at the gusman theater in miami (it was cool)

In fact, I saw the movie "knocked up" last night (its hillarious) and during one of the scenes there was an argument between a Dr & I forget his name... the Doc said, "if you are looking for fun, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert"!

a definite must see, and not at all because of that line.....

I could go on & on about Buffett, but Im gonna stop....

I worked at a remote fishing lodge in alaska for a couple that lived on a sailboat in the bahamas in their youth as did my wife and I. In the evenings while cleaning up we would drink rum and tang and sing to buffet. while we had a good time at the lodge, it was a heaven sent escape after 18 hr days, bad clients, and freezing weather to have buffet put my mind back in the boat in the bahamas. Don't think I'd have been as good without Buffet.
Pirate looks at 50- one of the life changing reads, at least it saved me from the treadmill.
