I will be in Ft. Walton Beach in February. Where is the best place to have fish without going to the tourist traps.

The ones you catch yourself and cook at home

I visit the area from time to time and the best places are the tourist traps as you call them. I prefer the restaraunts in Destin myself.

As you can see that aren't many posts on here for the panhandle so good luck getting some local advice.

Thanks for the reply. I am familiar with Destin. Spent 3 weeks there in 89 playing with a 33 chris stinger.

I would love to move to Florida. My wife said have a nice tme, so I guess I will stay in North Texas.
