Alot Of People Read The Postings And Never Reply. I Have Tried To Get Something Started But It Never Materializes. Don't Think They Have Any Interest In Trying To Put Anything Together. It Is Kind Of A Shame. Plenty Of Lakes Nearby And River To Have A Good Time On. I Usually Bounce Between Eastfork, Caesars Creek And The River For The Concerts At River Bend. but an up for almost anyplace.

there has been allot of gettogeathers here in jacksonville and allot of fishing with people in the raft up crew this summer but it is year round here and yes it did dye off due to school time

I know what you mean when you say seems like no one ever gets together. I posted a couple of times and nothing. I did meet with Wet Eagle once but that was when it was cold out and was never able to meet again. Lets just keep trying and see if we can get something going.

I have a question I am new here and new to boating. Where are all the slips or boat ramps around cincinnati for the river. If one is to go to fireworks where is best to launch due to crowds. Also what is the law on drinking and boating? thanks

There are alot of places to put your boat in at. But before you go study up and take a map because there are dams/locks. Its great boating but but be a little familiar. Drinking? Keep it on the D/L. You can but you don't want to advertise it. Here is a couple web sites to help you get familiar with areas on the river.

There Are Several Public Launches On The River In The Cincinnati Area
Tanners Creek On The Ind Line
Boldface Park By Price Hill
Schmidt Field East Of The Stadium
Hamilto County Park Near Riverbend
I Usually Put In At Schmidt Field And It Costs $10 Save The Tickets 5 Get You A Free Launch. We Always Have Beverages With Us And Have Not Had Any Problems.
Most Places Will Fill Up Quick For Fireworks. I Would Go Early. Plan On Making It A Day, Then Anchor Someplace Afterwards For Awhile. It Can Be Crazy Trying To Get Out Of The Water. If You Come Up River There Is A Place Called Riverside. Good Food, Drinks, Reasonable Price. Decent Docks To Tie Up To. It Is Probally 5 Miles Up River From The Stadiums.
