Cool Lake Toho

Just moved to Kissimmee on lake Toho. Anyone know of anything going on here? Any raft-ups planned?

Re: Lake Toho

East Lake is near St Cloud, take 192 east from kissimmee, turn left on Narcoossee road, approx 3 miles on left is the Chisolm Park boat ramp. It's alot of fun with a good old fashion country croud. Good lake for skiing or wake boarding if you get there early. Fairly clear water and hardly any grass in the lake...Hope this helps, Take care

Re: Lake Toho

East Lake actually has a brand new marina, sandy beach, 3 boat ramps and a seafood restaurant on Lakeshore drive. If you take 192 east towards St. Cloud once you get into St. Cloud turn left on Massechusetts Ave. to Lakeshore turn right and the marina is on your left. It's a brand new boat ramp and alot easier to launch out of there. Chisolm park gets way too crowded on weekends and some of the people can get a little testy and impaitent if you're not a regular.
We'll be out on East Lake on Sat.

You can see the satellite image of the marina on the link below.

Re: Lake Toho

Captain Dave you are all over it..Good job on the map, nice work... That is a good ramp also. Chisolm park ramp is good for a laugh or two. It's almost good to go there to be entertained by the ramp activities, lol... No pleasure boating for us this weekend, have a Bass Tourney Sat at Crooked Lake near Lake Wales Fl.

Re: Lake Toho

Great info! Thanks gentlemen. Im going to head to that marina this weekend with the old lady to check it out. Probably take a drive around the lake and see the sights. Any good pubs/hole in the wall bars to go to?
-Cheers

Re: Lake Toho

Very nice eating and drinking right at the marina, I believe it's called Crabby Bills. Nice place to go after a day on the water for an excellent meal and a few cold ones....Other than that, there is a fish camp across the lake that offers airboat rides and parisailing. We have spent many Saturdays there the past few summers. Better trips involved group trips. There are alot of regulars there.

Re: Lake Toho

Fish camp is very rustic and Nostalgic, but I do love it there. The people are interesting and very nice, the beer is ridiculously cheap and the food...well, if you're hungry you'll eat it. I however have always loved little dive bars and hole in the wall joints. It is on the northern point of the Lake. The park and the Restaurant at the Marina are awsome. Great food, drink and plenty of other captains to swap the one that got away stories. Keep your eyes open for a 20' white and blue Sea Doo Utopia cuz we'll be out on East Lake Sat and Probably stop by the marina. Oh, and regarding Chisolm Park, you are right just hanging to watch the cluster <Beep> is worth going but launching out of there is a definite test of paitence and diplomacy.
Have a good weekend I'm sure you'll love it out there.
