We've been to the Welaka Lodge and it's a beautiful place! How many slips are available for the Sunday afternoon parties? It would be a short run from the Glen - we'd prob. be bringing other boaters with us!

We must have had 15 to 20 boats either in slips or rafted out. Larger boats anchored and dingied in. Kenny B will be playing this Sunday(Mothers Day) Hope to see you

Bar will be open Friday 4-8 Sat 1-8 and Sunday 1-8 on Memorial Day weekend. Kenny B will play at three on Sunday. Of course I am prejudice but I am seeing a very good time. There are not enough venues on the river. Hope to sse you

I've been living on the St. John's River for a couple years now and we have been in need of a place to go by water to enjoy a bite and an adult beverage, and Welaka Lodge & Resort has been a godsend. Very casual and friendly, best cheeseburger in the area and fun crowd. If your anywhere north of Lake George on the St. John's, it's definitely worth the stop on a Sunday afternoon.
