Well I haven't been out to the butler chain in a while, the clermont chain is always an option, they have that little tiki bar there for a quick bite too.

looks like NE florida is trying to get something started at silver glen this weekend but it doesn't look like it has gotten a lot of responses.

I was originally supposed to be out of town this weekend but I'm not sure that will happen now.
How is the water level in the Clermont chain? Anyone know?

I was in the clermont chain about a week ago in my searay with an I/O that has about 3 feet of draft and there were only two places I had to trim up, the crooked river that leads to lake louisa (seems like a lot of debris on the bottom and really shallow right before lake louisa) and prepare to get wet when docking up to the tiki bar. it's really shallow, I feel bad for the people that have their boats docked there. I think some of those boats are sitting on bottom.

Do you ever go over to the river Irish? There's a nice stretch of beach north of Lk Monroe that makes for a great raft-up spot.
What about tomorrow? I forgot the 500 is Sunday.

nope never been there, are you talking about the river that stretches towards hontoon island?
Sat okay with me but my girl has to work, I'll give some friends a call to see what they are up to.

Yeah, the St Johns River. We usually put in at the park by the I-4 bridge (Lk Monroe).

I just talked to my neighbor (FlDawg) and he won't be able to make it. I'm going to talk to a couple other people and see if we can't scrounge up a couple more boats.
