| | | Re: Welcome New Central Florida Members The only thing I can imagine is because it was the Holiday weekend. I've never had any trouble at that ramp.
I really like the Butler Chain but the new boat is too big for some of the bridges. I guess I can no longer cook weenies behind Shaq's house unless I go with someone else, LOL | |

It's never too soon to start planning the next get together, so if you're planning on being on the water soon let us know when and where! |

| | Re: Welcome New Central Florida Members Hey everyone,
I'm a fairly new member and this is my first post. Things are starting to thaw out arond here so I guess it's time to dust the cob webs off their boats and organize a party. Any Ideas? Conway chain is nice but really shallow, Haven't been on the butler chain in a while, deep enough or do I have to get out and push?
On a side note I think the alcohol problem at lake butler is because the ramp area is a park once you're in the water I think its ok. Anyone else have thoughts on this? |

Welcome aboard, glad to have you posting. I'm not sure about the Butler chain, my neighbor (Fldawg on here) went out on Sat. to Butler but I haven't talk to him since he came back. He usually signs on early in the morning.
But you're right, we definitely need to get together somewhere soon! My Badonkadonk is way too big for either chain but I just bought a little jet boat just for these occasions! |

Was out Sat. on the Butler chain and had no problem with canals, lake down canal was shallow but made it just fine with my inboard. There were about 10/12 boats anchored at Bird island so it should get good soon.
